I am an experienced home buyer/seller but from a southern state so when I moved to Michigan I needed someone who knew the ins and outs of northern homes as well as had a deep knowledge of the greater Ann Arbor real estate market. His initial analysis of the value and comparisons with recent sales in the neighborhood was spot on. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our agent, John Russell. For starters, he arranged for a colleague to show us homes while he was out of the country on vacation. If you are a first-time home buyer, John is the perfect realtor for you! We had no prior knowledge of the house buying process and he helped us the whole way through! We had an FHA loan and the seller of the house did not want to allow that type of loan, but John convinced them to accept it! He also helped us save money on inspections without skipping any inspection steps. It was a time consuming process, but he made us feel very comfortable the entire time. We trusted John to negotiate in our best interests and he flourished!
